It started with many textured layers, with cardboard coating the canvas. As I worked more on this piece, adding Hebrew letters and patterns, the layers became less important and as the painting continued I removed most of the three dimensional layers revealing a colourful blend of mysterious lines – some making up Hebrew letters in an abstract form.
